Which photos work best
High-contrast images with clear edges — line drawings, flash sheets you own, silhouettes, flowers on a plain background. Busy photos need a higher threshold and some erasing.
Clean up in the browser
Contrast and threshold sliders decide what becomes a line. A brush eraser removes background marks. Small specks are removed automatically.
Use images you have the right to use
Do not upload celebrity photos, copyrighted characters or someone else's artwork without permission. Your own photos and licensed images are fine.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why must I print at 100%?+
The PDF is drawn at true physical size. "Fit to page" rescales it. Every PDF has a 1 cm check square — measure it with a ruler before transferring.
Can I turn a portrait into a stencil?+
Only of someone who agreed to it, and not of celebrities. Portrait stencils usually need an artist to redraw them by hand.
