Who can use TryStencil

You must be 18 or older to create an account or make a purchase.

Your account

Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Free use is limited and is not unlimited free access. Paid credits and subscriptions follow the refund rules below. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. After 48 hours, fees already paid for the current period are not refunded.

Payments and refunds

Payments are taken by our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in the billing portal.

If you contact us within 48 hours of a purchase or a subscription renewal, we refund the unused credits from that purchase to your original payment method, pro rata: the amount you paid for that purchase, divided by the credits it granted, multiplied by the credits you have not used, minus the payment processing fee for that payment.

The processing fee is deducted only in this 48-hour calculation. We do not deduct it for duplicate charges, payments where the credits or subscription never arrived, confirmed service failures, or refunds required by law.

Credits already used for successful generations or stencil exports are not refunded in cash, including within 48 hours.

After 48 hours, we do not give cash refunds because:

• you do not like a result,
• you changed your mind, or
• you used credits and then decided you bought the wrong plan.

If a generation or export fails because of a technical problem on our side, we return the credits to your account. This is not a cash refund, and it is not limited to 48 hours.

We reply within 5 to 7 business days. Approved cash refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot control how long your bank or card issuer takes to show the refund.

Reference designs only

Designs, previews and stencils are references for a consultation. A licensed tattoo artist must review, adapt and apply any design. Do not apply a design to skin without a licensed artist.

What you may not do

• Upload only material and text you have the right to use. Do not upload copyrighted material you are not authorized to use, or other people's private material.
• Do not request or upload celebrity likenesses, real people without their consent, or well-known copyrighted characters or logos.
• Do not upload nude, sexual or pornographic images; any sexual content involving anyone under 18; or intimate images of a real person without their consent.
• Do not use the service to break the law, hack, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell it, spread malware or spam, or to harass, defame or impersonate anyone.

What results we do not guarantee

• On-photo previews are an approximation. Skin, lighting, body curve and healing change how a real tattoo looks.
• Stencil PDFs are drawn at true size, but accuracy depends on printing at 100% scale. Check the 1 cm square with a ruler before use.
• We do not guarantee that an artist will accept a design, or that a design is unique or free of similarity to existing work.

Your content

You keep the rights you have in what you upload. You allow us to process it to provide the service. Paid plans may use exported stencils in their own projects; the Artist plan may use them in paid client work.

Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we do, refunds still follow our Refund Policy and the law.

Disclaimer

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
